Class Description

Your first session will cover Budgeting Basics. This is the “big picture” of your finances. You’ll see how your income, spending, and credit come together to impact one another in both negative and positive ways. We’ll show you how to cultivate good financial habits you can use for a lifetime of success.

Your second session covers Checking Basics. Ever see your parents write a check? See how that check turns into money for the recipient. We’ll balance a checkbook and find out what happens to people who write “bad” checks.

Session three will cover Electronic Access. You will find that you have many options for maintaining your accounts with the credit union; you’ll get to try them all under the tutelage of a credit union professional.

Credit and Lending will be covered in session four. Credit is a necessary though sometimes complicated tool. Find out how to avoid the pitfalls of credit management.
